Child Wellness

Shawnee Weekday Early Learning Center is pleased to announce our partnership with My Achievement Center, a new community resource. If you’ve been in the building, you might have noticed a new face or heard your children talk about Mr. Eric. My Achievement Center (MAC) was originally established in Toledo, Ohio. The program expanded to Lima to provide more resources for children and make a difference in our area. Eric Sharp is a Licensed Professional Counselor working to help children achieve total wellness. Eric will be working both in the classroom and also, outside of the classroom (with parent permission) in small groups or one-on-one.  Topics include, but are not limited to: problem-solving skills, social skills, healthy boundaries, regulating emotions, managing behaviors, and coping skills. MAC’s goal is to achieve total wellness through hands-on, engaging activities. If you are interested in getting your child involved in the fun, please stop by the office to get the paperwork needed to get started! For more information regarding the program, see the attachment below or reach out to Eric directly. He can be reached at (419) 340-0972 or esharp@my-ac.org
