The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally-funded program designed to help income-eligible families with winter heating costs. Families may apply for HEAP from July through May by completing an online application at www.energyhelp.ohio.gov or by scheduling an appointment with West Ohio Community Action Program (WOCAP). To schedule an appointment with WOCAP, call (419) 227-2586. Please read the attached informational document for more information about the program and for income-eligibility guidelines.

WIC gives you access to healthy food, nutrition education and breastfeeding guidance. If you’re pregnant, a caregiver, or a mom with a child under 5, you can get the right personalized support for you and your family.Caregivers with a low to medium income and those who are part of other programs such as foster care, medical assistance, or SNAP are eligible.

“Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children around the world.” Imagination Library books are free of charge and are delivered to registered children each month. Eligibility requirements include being an Ohio resident and age birth to five! Children love receiving mail that is addressed to them!
