• December 2023
  December in the 4's extended day classroom is always busy! Our friend from the North Pole, Sprinkles, came down for a visit and got up to all kinds of Christmas-time mischief! On top of that we got to chat with Mrs. Claus, go on a gingerbread cookie hunt, and drink some delicious hot cocoa. Naturally, we did some learning along the way with letters, "Hh," and "Rr," and numbers 9 and 10. We talked a lot about our shape of the month, a star, and our color of the month, red, too!
  
• November 2023
  4's Extended Day is so thankful this November! We learned all about letters, "Nn," "Cc, "Kk," and "Ee," and practiced numbers 5-8. We wore camouflage to pay homage to veterans the Friday before Veteran's Day, and got to round out the month with a yummy feast shared with friends. Our hearts are as full as our stomachs this November! We can't wait to see what December holds for us!

  October was a fun-filled month in the 4's Extended Room! We got to celebrate one of our friend's turning 4 and we had a fun fall party! We went trick-or-treating around the building, and the Good Witch visited us to read us a story (we sang her a fun Halloween song in exchange for some candy). Mrs. Haley and Mrs. Sawyer can't believe how quickly October came and went.

• September 2023
  We're so happy to be back to school in the 4's Extended Day Classroom! We loved meeting new friends, playing outside while the weather was still nice, taking our school pictures, and learning a couple of new letters along the way. This September was extra special, as we got to celebrate a friend's birthday, too! Mrs. Sawyer and Mrs. Haley can't wait to see what October brings. Happy fall, everyone!
